PURPOSE STATEMENT:
To help the pastors, then the villagers to become self
sufficient through the principles of sowing and reaping.
MANAGEMENT:
This coop ministry effort will be directed by a minimum of
three elders. Initially, this shall include Rev. Chaitanya Kumar.
MEMBERSHIP:
Only churches that sow into the coop will be eligible to
receive benefits. Each church must contribute $5 usd (205 Rs) to become a
member.
DECLARATIONS:
It is the intent of this coop fund to not be used for items
such as the purchase of bicycles, or buildings, or food donations. It is
intended to be a microfund for income generating activities. All monies
will be held in a bank account as directed by CFD Ministries.
DISTRIBUTIONS:
Initial projects will be funded on the basis of taking
applications and then casting lots for the initial projects. Coop shall
retain a continuous reserve of 10% of the initial coop deposits.
Additional project fundings will commence after approval of
written applications and pursuant to a new lot casting.
ACCOUNTING:
CFD Ministries shall be responsible for the bookkeeping and
accountability of the coop funds. Reports and books shall be available to
all members upon reasonable notice. A separate ledger shall be kept for
each individual project distribution and income. An comprehensive income,
expense, assets, and liabilities ledger shall be kept.
Clarification and Qualification:
. All Pastors must give in writing an account of their
monthly business.
. The signatory must be by two Pastors in good standing
with the Church.
. The Source funds can only be used for the approved type
of income projects.
. Applicant for funds must submit written application for
requested project.
. After recipient has repaid the original donation, they
may administrate the future profits and proceeds at their discretion.
Recipient may not sell or dispose of the original donation without the
approval of The Source ministry.
. Recipients must attend a short training course on the
principles of sowing and reaping as conducted by CFD Ministries
. Pastors will be expected to tithe to the CFD Ministry.
. Village church members recipients will be expected to
tithe to their local church.
. No funds will be given to anyone who disobeys these rules
the first time.
. No more than 10% of each donation will be given to
administration.
Qualification for all items sponsored by the Source
Coop:
. Pastor must be active and in good standing with the
Church Of The Distant Ministry.
. Pastor must be willing to follow the principles of sowing
and reaping.
Examples:
Buffalos for Milk:
.Pastor must be willing to sow 10% of profits back to the
Source until the price of the buffalo has been met or donate the firstborn
calf back to The Source
Goats:
.Pastor must be willing to sow 10% of profits back to the
Source until the price of the goat has been paid or donate the firstborn
calf back to The Source.
Sewing Machines:
. Pastor must be willing to sow back to the Source coop
until the machine has been paid for. Upon the sales of any products, the
cost of the shoe shall be returned to the coop plus ten (10) percent of
the profit as per the project application. Funds shall be accounted for
once per month.
